(Dtech) Telecommunications Engineering

The 'Academic Track' DTech program in Telecommunications Engineering is an end-qualifications in itself. Students on this program are taught beyond the basic concepts and principles underlying the core subject areas of this program. The topics covered in each of the core courses at the DTech level are fairly advanced compare to those treated at the CTech level. Students who successfully complete the DTech Program can proceed to AIT's degree Programs on meeting the standard minimum entry requirements. The DTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is of One Semester duration after the successful completion of the equivalent CTech program.
Senior Secondary/High School Certificate Examination (SS/HSCE)
or West African Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE) or equivalent With an aggregate score of 24 or better in six subjects including passes in: Three Core Subjects (including Core English, and Core Mathematics) plus Three Electives.
or a certificate of technology (CTech) or equivalent
